[English]

In this study for determinination of effects of anesthesia with propofol on some of biochemical factors of blood, 120 grass carp were chosen. The fish were exposed to the ascending concentration of propofol by bath method and injection method. At the time of anesthesia and 4 days after anesthesia blood samples were taken from the caudal vein and some biochemical parameters of blood were measured and compared. At anesthesia with propofol, in bath method the mean of potassium was significantly higher than the control group. At the time of anesthesia the mean of phosphorus, blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and urea were significantly lower than the control group and in 4 days after anesthesia. The mean of calcium, phosphorus and cholesterol were significantly lower than the control group. The mean of calcium, phosphorus and cholesterol at the time of anesthesia were significantly higher than their means in 4 days after anesthesia whith propofol, but the mean of potassium at the time of anesthesia was significantly lower than their mean in 4 days after anesthesia. At the time of anesthesia with propofol, in injection method the mean of sodium and potassium, cholorid were significantly higher than the control group and in 4 days after anesthesia the mean of sodium and potassium were significantly higher than the control group. These results showed that propofol have had a markrd effect on biochemichal factores of blood serum, however the changes had been in normal range for the studied factors.
